Blade of Darkness is a 2001 3D third-person PC action-adventure game with an accent on close-quarter, hand-to-hand combat. It was created by (now defunct) Spanish developer Rebel Act Studios and published by Code masters. The original subtitle in direct translation from Spanish is Blade: The Edge of Darkness. There was however a show with the same title in the USA, so the US publisher changed the subtitle to Blade of Darkness and the same label was pressed on the European copies as well, even though no sword of this exact name featured in the game. Severance has an immediately recognizable fantasy premise with swords, sorcery and the like. It features four playable characters: Tukaram, a barbarian; Naglfar, a dwarf; Sargon, a knight; and Zoe, an amazon. Each character starts on a different map, has different preferences and selection of weapons, and has different strengths and weaknesses in terms of power, agility, and defence and, most importantly, different sets of combos or moves. The individual levels of the game bear a resemblance to diverse environments from the Middle East, Europe, Africa and South America under fictitious names or names with slightly changed spelling.

The Lord of the Rings: War of the Ring is a 2003 real-time strategy game (RTS) developed by Liquid Entertainment, the makers of the previous Battle Realms and its expansion, Winter of the Wolf, and published by Sierra Entertainment. Set in J. R. R. Tolkien’s fictional Middle-earth, it expands upon the events of the War of the Ring as told in his fantasy novel, The Lord of the Rings.
Unlike the later RTS The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth by Electronic Arts, War of the Ring is unrelated to the films by Peter Jackson. The game is officially licensed by Tolkien Enterprises, as are other book-based (as opposed to film-based) Tolkien games such as The Fellowship of the Ring and The Hobbit (2003).
The game plays much like Warcraft III with added features, some previously used in Battle Realms. A similar layout and control system is used, and the player gets to control hero units with special abilities. Most regular units also have abilities of their own. The game also follows certain RTS conventions such as having rally points and controlling unit creation and purchase of upgrades at designated buildings.
The game features a Good and an Evil campaign, in which one fights the War of the Ring from opposing sides. The game does not actually dwell on prominent battles such as the Battle of the Pelennor Fields (except for the Battle of the Hornburg, featured in the Good campaign) but rather presents scenarios based upon Tolkien’s writings (with varying degrees of license taken). For example, the Good campaign starts with Gimli and the Dwarves fighting the Orcs in the Iron Hills, and one Evil mission has Grishnákh destroying the Beacons of Gondor. A more faithful scenario is the defense of Osgiliath with Boromir and Faramir.

Mario Forever 4 is really a classic Mario remake. Once again you strap on your wrench and hardhat and guide the chubby plumber through many skillfully made levels. The diversity of the levels is very impressive. You will have to get through levels ranging from underwater caverns to levels filled with hot lava.
Version 4 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

City Racing is a free sandbox racing game, set in and around
an unnamed city. You begin City Racing with a wrecked car being taken to a
garage, and are introduced to a mechanic who gives you a little introduction to
the game. Like other sandbox racers, you can drive freely around the city, and
find various events to win to increase your ranking, and win credits to upgrade
your car, or buy a better one.
Visually, City Racing is quite odd. The city is fairly
generic, although it’s quite big. The vehicles look vaguely futuristic, but not
beautiful, and the pedestrians walking the streets are pretty outdated. The
gameplay is spoiled by really wooden physics – you feel like you’re driving a
bumper car, and there is no real sense of speed.
The language in the game will amuse anyone who likes bad
English, as the text throughout is very badly translated. The best thing about
City Racing is that it’s free.
